Pritel Inc. brings to UCELLS project high quality products for time- and spectrum-domain test & measurement applications. Pritel’s tailored femto-second optical sources and low-noise erbium-doped fibre amplifiers (EDFAs) have been demonstrated to achieve exceptional dynamic range and resolution in the photonic processing techniques developed in UCELLS.
Pritel’s femtosecond fiber lasers are a great quality lasers that generates soliton pulses with high pulse repetition rates (10–100 MHz) and high power (> 100 W) and ultra-wide bandwidth (> 15 nm). These characteristics are well suited for testing UCELLS applications and make feasible UCELLS objectives of high dynamic range, high spectral stability and low noise. Pritel’s low noise high power EDFA products offers offer the lowest noise (< 5.0 dBm) and the highest saturation output power (30 dBm) at input powers as low as -30 dBm. These specifications provide low noise characteristics and high power regeneration to test UCELLS applications.
